Our Business Model for Our Oki Toner Cartridge Recycling Program
Running my company’s Oki toner cartridge program was an easy feat, once we figured out how to keep things running. At the large company that I work for, keeping everything organized is key to everything. We have a lot of employees and several printers scattered around the building. Gathering those cartridges for the recycling company takes a bit of organization and planning.
We do have a few managers that are in charge of the Oki toner cartridge program, to keep things easy. We charge them to find the best rates for our cartridges and to work with those companies that recycle them, to get mailers ready to send in, and to make sure we’re collecting the cartridges and not throwing them away. We tell each new employee know what those boxes are for and how to change the used, empty toner to keep all employees involved and active.
We are large in size, but we’re still a company where everyone pitches in for the daily duties. A few people are committed to mailing in to the Oki toner cartridge programs, but they aren’t ever alone. Everyone in the office knows how put in a new ink cartridge or where to get more office supplies, and we do that when necessary to keep things moving. We let everyone know about our toner recycling program and how to manage it.
The best part of all of this is that we are helping save the earth while at the office. All of our staff knows this and is excited to help out in any way possible. That small recycling program was just a jumping-off point for our environmental efforts. All of our employees are thinking of ways to save paper, avoid extraneous printouts, cut away disposable products and turn down the electricity use. It saves the earth and saves us a bit of money.
